SONNET

SONNET

Sperms we were, germs we are
Are worms to be oiur destiny?
Can this be all there is to life,
Or is it just my inabiility
To see Man, not as You, He or I
But as parts of a common Infinity?
Lovers, beings entiwined, become one
In moments of intimate ecstacy.
With God, it must be the same
For the essence of one's individuality
Is the Soul - and that is God -
Two parts of One, each a restless entity.
