SECOND EDEN
A MORNING IN TUMAIR

I was reborn, Man remade
In your garden, that Eden in Tumair.
Nature gifted you its palette -
Its lilac, blues, pink and reds.
No brush needs touch the flowerbeds
Their pigments to enhance.
No serpent lurks in wait to beguile.
Unripe apricots are not his style.
I lived like Adam before his Fall
In a second Eden, shrunk small.
