BARTER

Business requires goods to be

bought and sold with currency.

Love however permits barter,

Allows fair exchange.

It makes tender feelings

Legal tender, melts

Cold coinage into ingots gold.

Love equates rich and poor,

Shrinks millionaires to poverty,

Doth indigent fakirs enrich.

If fair exchange is no robbery,

Then why should I feel a thief?
